People don’t listen when they are convinced that being right is more important than the results.  

Nobody is ever hurt by something they didn’t say.  When talking with your kids, if you don’t know what to say, keep quiet.  When in doubt leave it out.

The greatest use for duct tape is relationship building.  It fits over our mouth.

Only when we listen to the answer can we think of what to say or do.

First challenge in the quest for peace is acceptance.  Acceptance creates the intersection of opportunities for response, which enlists solutions.  Judgment creates intersections of denial that provokes resistance and invites blame.
